We welcome you to suggest your favorite personal finance related web resource for possible inclusion in this Personal Money Management Reference Library. Doing so is easy and there are no costs involved. Simply submit your favorite personal money management resource site for listing. Our editorial staff will review your submission, and let you know whether or not your submission meets our selection/listing criteria.

A Brief Note About Our Listing Criterion: We would list only sites that offer substantial (informational) value to our visitors. We must emphasize, therefore, that we would not list any sites that are purely commercial in nature (such as affiliate sites that only resale or promote third-party financial products, and webstores), provide little or no unique informational content, or sites that may be even remotely spammy.

Here is a list of select money management and financial fraud prevention related resources suggested by our members:

  • eConsumer.gov : Provides general information about consumer protection. It is a joint effort to gather and share cross-border e-commerce complaints with more than 30 countries.
  • The Consumer Sentinel database at FTC.Gov : Maintained by the Federal Trade Commission, this one-stop, secure investigative cybertool and complaint database now contains more than one million consumer fraud complaints that have been filed with federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies and private organizations. Data so collected is then made securely available to hundreds of law enforcement agencies.
  • The Bureau of Consumer Protection : Focuses on protecting consumers against unfair, deceptive, or fraudulent practices.
